Starting to move through the fields of the painting Salon (from 2016), Zdravkovic disturbs the traditional two-dimensional perception of the canvas – by using VR, the painting conquers the interior, that is, the non-existent space so far. By upgrading the meaning and content, the visitor will have the opportunity to find for the first time in Belgrade on the other side of the canvas in the uncertain dimensions of virtual reality.
The painting Salon was exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 2017 (“Enclavia – painting, a consequence of this kind of life”) and is currently in a private collection in Vienna.
D Salon, oil and acrylic paint on canvas 145x200cm, 2016. ( private collection, Vienna)
